Should we uproot our vines ?

The question makes people uncomfortable.

In a region where we’ve always talked about planting, producing, expanding…

Uprooting can feel like admitting failure.
I see it differently.

Uprooting can be a strategic move.
A conscious choice. A realignment.

Reducing surface area means:

Gaining precision
Focusing your energy
Shifting from volume to mastery

It’s about thinking of your vineyard like a garden.

Less surface,
but more intention.

It allows for complete coherence.

Uprooting can also open the door to smarter diversification.

A micro-estate becomes a living mosaic.

Economically? Less volume means rethinking the model.

More margin + more connection + more meaning.

Being small is not a weakness.
It’s a strategy.

So let me ask you:

Should we keep producing more?
Or produce less, but better?

I’d be curious to hear your perspective on this question
that is currently reshaping the entire wine industry.
