Is the story of two wine enthusiasts who did not hesitate taking up the challenge to make their dream come true.

Jérémy, the son, has been a sailor in the navy for 15 years. Frédéric, his father, has been a winemaker for 32 years. He started out as a wine-grower, and now manages a vineyard with the Fronsac appellation. Eager to work together, in 2017 they decided to purchase two hectares of vineyards in the town of Galgon near Saint-Emilion.

"Our desire is to create a quality wine that resembles us"

"We operate the vineyard within the protected designation of being origin of Bordeaux where Merlot is the only variety."
For all of that, they are not giving up their respective jobs but are starting this new adventure.
The first cuvée was produced the same year.

"Our wish is to seek to create a quality wine".
The goal of the estate is a conversion to organic farming.

Between earth and sea

The name “Domaine du Carrelet” shown on our label has a pretty carrelet referencing our family who overlook the river Isle.

It is a pleasant venue where we have been gathering together for many years with large family reunions, for a good meal and some fishing. It is the link that we have found: “Between land and sea”.

This adventure could not have been successful without a solid family and the help of our friends.
